29er fenders can be attached to any 29 inch frameset and are designed to protect the rider from mud and water that is encountered on the trail or road. They are ideal for commuters or anyone who doesn’t want to be covered in road or trial debris.
29er fenders can be made out of a wide variety of materials from empty milk containers to expensive carbon fiber although steel and aluminum are the most widely used. They are typically installed on cruiser and commuter bikes which are more designed for comfort than top speed. Weight is often not a huge factor.
29er fenders attach like most fenders to the rear seat post and the front fork. They are very effective at stopping a number of materials and substances that are found on roads and trails throughout the world.
