Carbon 29er frames are mountain bikes made out of carbon material making it light yet durable. Carbon 29er Mountain Bike Frames do not have a higher center of gravity. In fact, it lowers the center of gravity. If the rider stays in the same position and the wheels get bigger, this will lower the center of gravity. As far as Carbon 29ers only being for tall people, that’s also a myth. There are 29ers available in all adult sizes and they still provide all the same benefits. You've probably noticed the 29 inch wheeled bikes that came out a few years ago haven't really gone away. The magazines are still writing about them, manufacturers are still making them, and even though you rarely see one on the trail, the consumers are still buying them. There are certainly some benefits to the 29 inch wheels over the standard 26 inchers, less rolling friction, more comfortable ride, better obstacle rollover, and even better traction. The obstacle rollover is created because of the bigger wheel size which creates a greater angle of attack. Think monster trucks rolling over cars. Also, better traction is caused because there is more of the tires tread in contact with trail.
