Full suspension mountain bikes
Without shocks, riding on a rocky trail can be very detrimental to
a biker’s body, especially their arms. Although front suspension
is standard for all mountain bicycles, full suspension mountain bikes
have become increasingly popular because they provide comfort and more
control on rough trails.
What companies manufacture full suspension mountain bikes?
• Kona
• GT
• Trek
• Ibex
Full suspension mountain bikes do have some drawbacks, however. Hardbacks
(front suspension only) are more affordable and they’re more efficient
during a strenuous climb. Dirt jumpers also favor hardbacks because
of the support they provide while pumping off a jump.
